Nikos Economidis, a leading master of the folk violin, after a systematic research guides us in "Asia Minor of the Aegean". On the occasion of the cd staff of the same title and the 100th anniversary of the destruction of Hellenism on the beaches of Asia Minor, starting from the musical and dance traditions of Paros, Naxos and Kythnos, we travel to the cultural - musical communication networks of the islands with Asia Minor. The land of Ionia with a focus on Smyrna as well as Constantinople with the shores of the Propontis functioned as a "matrix of culture and music", transplanting to the Archipelago songs, purposes, dances and instruments adapted to the local traditions of each island.
